Evangelical Christians, which Jesus saves, and in what way does He save?

You are getting pretty frantic about this, Chris, let "god" take care of it. If Jesus lives and gives a ****, why let all these catholic heresies go on for centuries before the reformation? Why let his "word" be interpreted in such wildly different ways today?
