Is Obama failing to act on his promises because he's trying to please too many people at once?

He did promise a lot. And he just talked about his healthcare reform program today. He hasn't been in office for long enough to get everything done. He wasn't expecting an economic meltdown to fix in the beginning. He still has a few years left to work on more of his promises.
