Can we compare "notes" about baptism?

Baptism is showing that you decide to serve God and give him glory for the rest of your life. It also entails that before you get baptized you must have knowledge of the scriptures and what God requires of people. You promise to live up to his commandments no matter what forms of opposition you may face. By promising to do his will you show to everyone else that you are for God and his kingdom alone. Water baptism is just a symbol of a persons dedication to Jehovah God and it is only the beginning of a close relationship with him.
