I am a 23 year old male with Varicose veins. Anyway to stop the discomfort they bring?

I'm a bit overweight but fat or obese, I am 6'3 and work in a job where I never sit down. I have some varicose veins only on my left leg. From time to time they hurt, anyone know how to reduce my discomfort?
