How do you fire the majority leader of the Senate?

If you were a democratic senator or group of senators and wanted to fire a whimp that couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag, much less the Rebublicans. How do you replace him? and dont answer reelect someone else. I am talking about what are the procedures to get rid of the party leaders or are they like a King or something?
