How long will the redness of my sunburn last? (any remidies?)?

i was out in the sun for an hour and got a minor sunburn on my back and it looks stupid when i wear strapless tops snice the outline of my tank top shows. i want it to go away asap. it doesnt hurt and it isnt peeling its reallly minor i just need the rednedd to go away. ive heard that alo vera gell works but i dont have any i also heard that this takes away redness but im not sure if its true? ; ice, cubers, yougert, ect SO i want to no how long this will last and how can i get rid of it asap!!
