Father son relationship issues?..Please Help!?

In order for children to become close to their parents, parents have to be really soft with the child no matter what. Adults can not expect a child to become close to him/her if they treated the child rougly since birth. Go to your father and tell him that you know you love him but that you want him to be a little more gentle.
