As far as birdseed goes, do squirrels get into thistle seed?

If you let them, squirrels will get into anything, especially seeds of any kind. When you put food out for the birds, please take pity on the poor squirrels that need food also. I fill my bird feeders to the brim and they are squirrel proof, but I also make sure I have plenty of seeds and nuts for the squirrels. I live on the top of a mountain so I make sure all of the lovable critters don't starve. No, I don't have bears thank goodness.
