My helix (cartilage) piercing just got ripped out - the ball part pulled through the hole! What should I do?!?

My helix (cartilage) piercing just got ripped out - the ball part pulled through the hole, and it's bleeding a lot - should I just clean it and put another earring in so it doesn't close, or should I call this one a goner?
