Is it wrong for me to feel sorry for Osama?

I'm not celebrating with this news of Bin Laden's death. It's just another step that the America has taken to try to be the world police, without taking into consideration of other countries that may have wanted to question him. I personally think that we should've just captured him and set up a war-crimes trial to try and figure out a more peaceful solution than just committing the act of murder.
